Michael Roberts says he refused to go through, not because he’s a pilot, but instead because he believes nobody should have to be subjected to “a virtual strip search.”

Roberts was traveling Friday from his hometown of Memphis to Houston, where he’s based as a pilot for ExpressJet Airlines. He says a TSA agent asked him to take off his shoes and enter the new machine. He told the agent he wasn’t willing. “I’m not going to do it,” he says. “Not once am I going to show them my naked body.”

Mr Roberts wasn’t just thinking of himself.  He has explained in  great detail to the press how he considers this a civil liberties issue of great importance.  I agree.  It’s not just a matter of bashfulness, it’s a matter of who should have control over your body.  No innocent person should ever be forced to expose their naked body or be touched in certain places by a government agent.  Ever.

Naturally the TSA reported the “incident” to Mr Roberts’ employer, ExpressJet Airlines, and as far as he knows his employment status is “on hold.”  Which brings up several more ethical issues.  Is it okay for an employer to discipline an employee for refusing to allow naked photos to be taken of him by an unseen third-party?  In any other circumstance wouldn’t that constitute sexual harassment?

I certainly wouldn’t want to work for any company that would have such abhorrent expectations.  And I don’t want to live in a country where the long arm of the law feels the need to reach into my underpants.

In one of a series of racially insensitive remarks that pervaded her speech, Coulter added, “Marriage is not a civil right. You’re not black.”

Now this wasn’t one of Coulter’s regular Fox News appearances.  This time she was speaking as the headliner at a conservative circuit party put on by “GOProud,” a right-wing activist organization for LGBT Republicans.  They even called their event “Homocon.”  Get it?  Yeah.

GOProud is the new in crowd for the internalized homophobia movement.  These days the Log Cabin Republicans are considered too liberal to be welcomed into the GOP.  Which basically means that GOProud is where bitter, envious closet cases can now go to exact their revenge on us decadent liberal faggots by actively working against issues like DADT repeal, ENDA, marriage equality, and  generally supporting an anti-gay party agenda.

If any of the Homocons there were in any way proud, they would have snapped the nasty cunt in half.

A gay Saudi diplomat seeking asylum in the United States says he fears for his life after going public with his story over the weekend, and will be killed “in broad daylight” if he is forced to return to Saudi Arabia.

U.S. officials have yet to make a decision on his application.

It’s no secret that Saudi Arabia is run by a handful of incredibly evil, greedy, violent people.  Saudis were, if you remember, the guys responsible for the 9/11 attacks!  The U.S. government, Barack and Hillary included, should be ashamed of themselves for threatening to send this man back to a place where LGBT people are tortured and murdered as an everyday occurrence.

Teabaggers are busy trying to prove that Obama is a butt-boy for Islamic extremists.  If Ali Ahmad Asseri is not granted asylum, the teabaggers and the terrorists win.
